About Yellow Grant
Yellow Grant lists every EU funding call you can still apply to, with its deadline, budget and a plain-language summary. It is the deadlines tool of Grant Grants and the Yellow Grant blog, built for founders, researchers and the people who keep funding lists for others.
Where the data comes from
Every call comes from the public search service of the EU Funding & Tenders Portal, the Commission's own site for grants and tenders. We read it 3 times a day, at about 05:15, 11:15 and 17:15 UTC. Commission content is reused under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence (Commission Decision 2011/833/EU), and every call page names its source and links to the official text.
What we change
- Past deadlines go. On 2026-11-03 the portal still labelled 665 calls as open or forthcoming whose deadlines had all passed. Yellow Grant leaves them out.
- Duplicates go. A topic listed twice shows once, with its latest cut-off dates.
- Summaries are built from the call's own fields: type of action, budget, number of grants, funding model and deadline. The "what the call wants to achieve" points are the Commission's words, quoted.
- Closed calls keep their page with the closest open calls, so a link to a closed call never ends on an error page.
What we do not do
Yellow Grant is independent. It is not run, funded or endorsed by the European Commission or any EU body, and it does not use the EU emblem. The official call text on the portal decides eligibility, budget and deadlines. When the two differ, the portal is right, and we would like to hear about it through the contact form.
